Step 1 - Frame Measurement |
|
Measure the height of your frame.
Measure the depth of your frame.
*Note If one step is being mounted on the tongue instead of the frame make sure to measure the height and depth of the tongue. |

Step 2 - Boat to Frame Measurements |
|
2a: Measure approximately 5-7 inches back from your trolling motor.
2b: From this location place a 4' (foot) level (or long board with a small level) against the outer edge of the boat. While holding the level vertical, measure the distance between the frame and the level. This will be boat-to-frame measurement #1.
2c: Measure 15" (inches) back from where you took measurement #1.
2d: From this location place a 4' (foot) level (or long board with a small level) against the outer edge of the boat. While holding the level vertical, measure the distance between the frame and the level. This will be boat-to-frame measurement #2.

Step 3 - Boat Height Measurement |
|
Measure the distance from the top of your trailer frame to the top edge of your boat.
This will allow the height of your steps to be uniform. |
